Bottled water.

I'm glad we're all a bunch of health nuts! laugh.gif

Greedy - what kind of sweet iced tea? Have you ever tried Turkey Hill iced tea? It's the best!
BKB
I had strawberry shortcake with whip cream and blueberries.

Phish! You are so right on! I have been drinking Turkey HIll iced tea since i was a teenager, it's the best!
Heather
I love Turkey Hill Oolong Tea.

I had King's mushroom pizza and a Pepsi.
GreedyXJ
P it wasn't TH but 3X on the TH

It came from a deli here in Fredneck they make it and won't tell you how...maybe it is TH laugh.gif
PHISH
BKB - are you originally from the PA area? Maybe they've just been distributing it down here for a while now.

Heather - have you tried the blueberry oolong tea? I'm not a huge blueberry fan, but it's surprisingly good!
BKB
Yeah Phish, I lived in York. That's where good old Turkey Hill got started. I hadn't seen it for years living in DC and Balt area til I moved up here. Woo hoo! Turkey Hill iced tea! I was happy.

Jeesh, Yoss, no wonder you went for the ice cream truck! Must be your only source of protein! Either you only weigh 80 pounds or you make-up for it in other meals.

TV dinner w/ mac and cheese and salisbury steak, canned peaches, 2 Reeses cups, iced tea (not TH)
Yossarian
I really don't like Red Lobster and I really don't like raspberry that much.

But RL does make good raspberry iced tea.

At home, I make my own iced tea. 2 qts boiled water, 3 large iced tea bags from Lipton or whoever is on sale. Steep until cooled. Add water to make a gallon. Sweeten to taste.

I like fresh lemon in my tea - but adding lemonade concentrate really gives it a nice change of pace flavor. Some folks add orange juice concentrate.
------

Shall we change this to the Iced Tea topic?
BKB
Phish what high school did you go to? I went to York Suburban.
GreedyXJ
change it to ice-t and pizza

I like a good ham and shroom pie brick oven style.

Also Pepsi > coke wink.gif biggrin.gif

and tastecake > than all other snack cakes

No, haven't tried it. It sounds weird, and I don't like blueberries. Tell me why all the things of Turkey Hill tea are sticky like one busted open and sprayed all over the rest of 'em. I mean, every time I go to pick one, I look for one that isn't sticky and can't find one. Weird.
GreedyXJ
So don't keep us in suspense do you know each other???

'cause I don't watch classmates...well sometimes it's on in the lunch room and I do watch it...
BKB
Nope I'm a geezer compared to him. We do know one person in common so far though!

healthy people unnerve me... I had a big juicy, greasy Whopper from Burger King, w/o the lettuce and healthy stuff, that is probably clogging my youthful arteries this very minute! Oh, and I had some onion rings. And a Twinkie when I got back to work... with a Dr. Pepper.

By the way, Twinkie/Wonder Bread people filed bankruptcy. That's scary... I don't think I could handle life without Twinkies!!!

Twinkies are good, but Ho-Ho's are even better!

(Don't say it, Greedy). laugh.gif
peacefrog
<-- vegan, but I don't know if I'm particularly healthy. I try to get 5-7 servings of veggies/fruit per day, plus stuff like soy yogurt and tofu and brown rice... but sometimes I eat nothing but pizza and spaghetti.

There's a little Italian woman in me screaming to get out. wink.gif
peacefrog
The shelf life on Twinkies is something like 20 years... right? So just stock up and you'll be okay for a while. biggrin.gif wink.gif

Marie Calenders frozen chicken meal and a diet coke.
sheash
A small bag of Planter's Trail Mix (mixed nuts, raisins, M&M's) and Diet Coke. The Trail Mix is on sale at Food Lion for $1.69. Had to get out of the building, and that was the only thing I could find that appealed to me. Still don't understand how I can go to a grocery store and not find anything I want to eat for lunch! blink.gif
samy0

Bunch of light weights!!! The lot of you!!!

I had a home made ham, genoa salami, pepperoni, and mozzarella sandwich on italian bread (I love my wife). I also had cherry pop tarts, utz salt and vinegar chips, oatmeal cookie, sams club water, and a thing of lemonade capri-sun.

Lunch is the best part of the day.

Oh and Turkey Hill makes the best raspberry iced tea. I get that stuff all the time.

MMM Ho-Ho's! Get 'em at the Wonder thrift store on 40...hope they don't go out of business!

I had a pepperoni pizza roll thing from a little bakery in Sharpsburg...awesome! And a Sobie iced green tea.
WVDragonlady
Homemade Chef's salad and 2Tb.dressing.16oz. of water.Gonna have the same thing again today too.Might make a small one and have a cup of tomato soup with fresh basil and oregano in it.
TH is the best tea around but it costs too much.Cheaper to make your own.
I'm a SuzyQ kinda girl myself! I can't beleive that they might go out of business!I get my whole wheat bread there all the time.Oh and the Texas toast bread too. Makes the best french toast!
Yossarian
Oh man, SuzyQ's!!!

Love 'em. Haven't had 'em in a long time though!

Talk about your sugar high! laugh.gif
JessicaMarie
I love Swiss Cake Rolls... They're more moist than Ho-Ho's. (no comment son that one, okay? wink.gif )

Breakfast time! I had a Country Time lemonade (homemade w/ X-tra sugah), a bag of Cheetos and a Snickers Crunch Bar.

Hmm... from the sound of today's meal and yesterday's, I bet you all think I weigh more than Michael Moore, huh?
Naomi
Breakfast of champions...Sugar Frosted Flakes & a cup of instant coffee!

I really need to start eating healthier for lunch, and cheaper! I run from class to work almost every day and eat in the car so I go for the most portable meal I can find...McDonald's burger and fries! Yesterday I found the pizza thing at the bakery when I was getting donuts for breakfast sad.gif Anybody out there have ideas for healthy, portable lunches? (Did I mention cheap??)
peacefrog
When I ate in the car a lot, I ate a lot of "wrap" sandwiches for lunch. A lot less messy than regular sandwiches.

Breakfast today was a handful of dry-roasted peanuts and some coffee.
BMIC
Yesterday it was leftover beef and barley casserole. Today it's leftover ham steak and mixed veggies. Plus a 20 oz. Sprite. No chips, twinkies, etc. for me. The Sprite is bad enough.

Good idea. Thanks!

When I lived in Fredneck, there's a place called The Common Market that has the best wrap sandwiches around! Good healthy food store. Unfortunately I never get over there anymore. (Fortunately I don't live in Frederick anymore!)
JessicaMarie
okay everyone, you will be proud of me.

I had a big salad (okay, it was loaded with buttermilk ranch dressing and cheese, but everything else was good for me!) and Boston Clam Chowder, with sweet iced tea. My hubby met me at Hoss's for lunch today!!! (He's so sweet... even pulled out my chair for me!)

Oh, and a small piece of cheesecake with just a hint of strawberry sauce on top.
SMan
Not my lunch, but I just ordered a pizza online for dinner. Ah yes, another way for me to limit human contact. biggrin.gif
