My favorite is Homicidal Bo Peep, but I'm having a hard time finding a bo peep dress. The dress would make the whole costume, so if I can't find one I won't do it at all. I can find nice ones on the internet, but they are too expensive. I don't want to spend a lot of money on an outfit that I'm going to ruin by tossing fake blood all over it.

Mother Nature would be difficult to do because it's more abstract.

80's flashdance girl!! Leg warmers, head band - I don't know how long your hair is, but if you could do the side ponytail - that would be classic! Jelly bracelets (apparently these have made a comeback, so they shouldn't be too hard to find). You'll have to excuse the excitement - I liked the 80's and the music a little too much!

Last year I went as a "Gold Digger." I wore a slinky gold dress, gold glittery makeup, gold garter belt, and a gold shovel around my neck. LOL

Some other ideas:

- "Cereal" Killer: Wear black, ski mask or black cap, carry a knife, cut out the front of cereal boxes and attach to you.

- Freudian Slip: Wear a slip with the words "Id," "Ego," "Super Ego," etc. written on it.

And my personal fave: pin a baby doll to your butt and go as a Baby Sitter!

For Mother Nature, I was thinking a flowing dress. Attach fake flowers all over the bottom to make it look like beds of flowers - all different colors. Afix a fake bird perched on the shoulder. Wild, curly hair with leaves in it. Attach a rubber snake to the back of the dress to make it look like its crawling out of my hair, down my back. Attach a bunch of different colored fake butterflies to a headband for a crown. Wrap a long piece of fake ivy from the shoulder, spiraling around the rest of the body and trailing into the flowers at the bottom. Barefoot, of course.

Aww.. that sounds awesome. I voted 80's flashgirl, but if I could change my vote, I would go with this idea. I love it.

Since I'm already huge even though I'm not due til the last week of February, this is the perfect year for Bun in the Oven. I'm going to make an oven out of a big box, complete with opening door and rack inside that will fit around my stomach, and then wear a top that leaves my belly exposed. My husband is going to help me paint my stomach to look like a "hot cross bun", complete with wispy steam (veil material) rising from the top! Think I can pull it off?

See if you can find that old margarine commercial (was it Imperial margarine?) with the lady dressed as Ma Nature. You know, she'd beller "It's not nice to fool Mother Nature".

GMAN and Yoss - We've surfed over tons of sexy adult costumes. They actually have a "Little Bo Peek" one but there is no way in hell I'd be caught wearing it in public. They are more for strippers. It's too cold for those skimpy things anyway!

I had someone in another office make me knickers, bonnet, and an apron. I put the complete Bo Peep costume on, pre-bloodbath, in the restroom to show my girlfriends at work.


Now they insist it's too cute to throw blood on.

Maybe you can get some washable fake blood from a gag shop and wear the scary version for the party, wash it, then wear the cute version for something else!

Rom, when I describe the homicidal part of my costume, I like to say that I will look as if I've just mauled the sheep with my bare hands and teeth. Going to put a bunch of fake blood in a bowl and then have someone toss it at me. Also going to use a paint brush and flick it so that I get those authentic splatters.

I might change my mind and decide to coddle the sheep, but be homicidal toward people instead. But that just doesn't seem as twisted and wicked as the original idea.

There will be pictures to post! My cronies will be a dark, michievious fairy and my other girlfriend, who has huge boobs, is going to dress as a man.

So Heather, how'd the costume turn out? Are there pics?

It turned out ok. I got a lot of compliments on it. I didn't have nearly as much blood on me as I would have liked, but as usual we all got ready at the last minute and we all needed help with details so I didn't have time to run out and get more blood.

I have pictures, but haven't had them developed yet. Look for 'em in the next couple of days.
