Snake Day: June 23

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is holding a 'Snake Day' from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 23, at Session Woods Wildlife Management Area, Burlington. There will be educational programs about CT's native snakes, crafts, face painting, and a display of snake art made by children. Brian Kleinman of Riverside Reptiles will also provide live snakes for visitors to see. Admission is free.
