Performing The Surgery

During treatment for a brain tumor, resident surgeon, Toral Patel, points to real time imaging from an MRI during the operation. The monitor is showing the brain tumor the laser is destroying along with colored outlines provide feedback to the surgeons so they can limit the kill area to precisely the tumor. The surgeons fire the laser from a room outside the operating room. A window allows them to see the patient and the MRI machine in the operating room.
