( Robby Ferguson / Fort Worth Star-Telegram / August 30, 2011 ) A helicopter drops water on a fire near the entrance to The Cliffs Resort on the southeast side of Possum Kingdom Lake. The fire was spreading in Palo Pinto County, just four months after massive blazes in roughly the same area scorched hundreds of thousands of acres and destroyed 160 homes. |
