Shuttle Endeavour: Prime seats

( Wally Skalij, Los Angeles Times / October 12, 2012 ) Onlookers sit on top of a roof to get a view of the the shuttle Endeavour as it moves east on Manchester Boulevard. Towed by four trailers, it inched down city streets from Los Angeles International Airport toward its new life as an exhibit at the California Science Center. It was greeted with fanfare by large crowds who marveled at its sheer size against the city backdrop. |
