The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Chambersburg announces Bark For Life, a way to honor dogs as caregivers.Dogs of all sizes and their owners are invited to join the American Cancer Society Bark For Life of Chambersburg event Saturday, May 5. Rain date is Saturday, May 12.
Bark For Life is at Norlo Community Park, 3050 Lincoln Way East, Fayetteville, Pa., and will offer a one-mile course for participants to walk. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., and opening ceremonies are at 9. Activities, contests, and the walk will begin following opening ceremonies.
Registration is $10 a dog and $5 for each additional dog. All registered doggie participants receive a Bark For Life bandanna and a goody bag. Activities include contests and raffles, as well as food and treats.
Bark For Life benefits the Relay For Life of Chambersburg, which will be Friday, June 15, and Saturday, June 16 at Norlo Park.
