"Making a Gingerbread House for Christmas," an Advent workshop for ages 8 to adult, is from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in the Parish Hall of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Led by Judy Stains, a retired culinary arts instructor, participants receive instruction in baking, assembling and decorating.
A cost of $5 per person helps cover the cost of ingredients. Registration is limited to 20 people.
To reserve a spot, call 301-582-0417. The church is at 18313 Lappans Road, just off the Sharpsburg Pike, south of Hagerstown.
