The French, the British and Woodland Indian Nations will return to Maryland to recreate the French & Indian War.A reenactment will be presented at Fort Frederick State Park on the weekend of Friday, July 26, through Sunday, July 28.
During the event a time and place will be set aside to meet a historical character. Meet a "Molly," a military engineer, a seamstress, a surgeon, a French officer, a wood wright, an artillerist, a wampum maker and many more characters.
This Maryland 250th Anniversary of the French & Indian War celebrates the end of the war. The event will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Parking is free. A service fee will be charged.
Fort Frederick is off Interstate 70, Exit 12 at Md. 56 near Big Pool.
