BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va.—War Memorial Hospital and Valley Health Heart & Vascular Services will offer the Heart Attack Risk Program from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in Education Room A at War Memorial Hospital, 1 Healthy Way in Berkeley Springs.
Test results from a finger stick blood draw will provide participants with information on their total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol/HDL ratio, triglycerides, blood sugar, blood pressure and body weight/body mass index. A nurse will review results with participants.

The screening process, which is conducted by appointment only, will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Participants must fast for 12 hours before their appointment time. A $20 fee applies to the screening, which is waived for anyone who has had coronary bypass surgery at Winchester Medical Center.
