Tanya Burnham of Williamsport is a member of the Singer Society, a volunteer organization that supports the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts by providing refreshments at exhibit receptions, leading tours and helping around the museum.

This recipe of Burnham's appeared in the Society's newsletter in December 2009. A month earlier, Burnham organized the preview reception for the Society's Treasure Sale.

Tanya's Buffalo Chicken Dip


2 large chicken breasts

12-ounce cream cheese, softened

1 cup blue cheese dressing

1/2 to 1 cup bottle hot sauce, to taste

1 to 2 cups grated cheese (see cook's note)



Cook the chicken, let cool and chop.

Mix with cream cheese, blue cheese dressing and hot sauce.

Spread mix in shallow baking dish, and top with grated cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes to heat through and melt cheese.

Serve with any tortilla chip or cracker.

Cook's note: For cheese, use cheddar, pepperjack or your favorite type.
