CUMBERLAND, Md. —Tri-State Community School for the Arts is hosting a free creative writing workshops for ages 12 and younger.
The free drop-in workshop will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 18, and focuses on storytelling for young students. The workshop will be at the Tri-State Community School for the Arts, 115 Baltimore St., Cumberland, and geared toward elementary school, this workshop will also be relevant for prekindergarten and pre-reading/writing students.

Story prompts, pencils, crayons, collage materials, and other materials to make a story will be on-hand for children to create their own story. Parental supervision is encouraged. Parking and direct entrance to the school is available in the back alley on Dexter Place. No registration is necessary, simply drop-in and create. This is the first workshop taught by Tri-State CSA's creative writing instructor Tiffany A. Turbin Santos.
