These lovely ladies are looking for a nice warm place to call home. Thelma and Louise love to be misted with their water bottle a few times a day. Iguanas live up to seven years, grow quite long and reach up to 20 pounds in weight.
Thelma and Louise and many other animals are available for adoption at The Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, north of Hagers-town. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Animal visitation begins at 10 a.m. daily. Closed on Sunday.
