For the second year, BlackCat Music is partnering with D’Addario Strings for its Strings for Food campaign.
From Saturday, Nov. 17, through Friday, Nov. 23, there will be a collection box at BlackCat, 155 Independence St., Berkeley Springs.
For anyone who donates nonperishable food items, BlackCat will clean, condition, polish and restring your acoustic or electric guitar with D’Addario strings for free.
The food donations will benefit Starting Points food bank.
BlackCat will also host a grand reopening party from 5 to 10 p.m. Nov. 17. The event will feature refreshments, live music and door prizes.
