Simon and Mable Clark of Big Pool celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this month with a weekend trip to Woodstock, Vt. The trip was a gift from their children, Kevin and his wife Lisa Clark of Cooks, Mich., and Beth and her husband, Sam Eyre of Victoria, Texas.
The Clarks stayed at the Inn at Clearwater Pond, and were treated to a hot-air balloon ride over the Vermont countryside, which ended with a champagne breakfast. They also took a scenic train ride on Mother’s Day. To complete their trip, they drove to Cooperstown, N.Y., and toured the Baseball Hall of Fame.
