A mama bear and her cubs wandered near an elementary school Wednesday in Issaquah, prompting officials to put the school in lockdown status.

 The bear family – a mother and three cubs -- wandered across the grounds of Issaquah Valley Elementary School.  A school administrator spotted them at about 11 a.m. and put the school on lockdown while wildlife agents brought in a specially trained dog to chase the bears away.
