In possible U.S. pro sports first, Seattle Sounders will allow fans to vote on GM's retention

In what is believed to be a first in U.S. professional sports, the Seattle Sounders FC announced Wednesday that it will allow season ticket holders and ‘Alliance’ members to vote to retain General Manager Adrian Hanauer or to cite a “lack of confidence” in his leadership.
