Presentation College faculty member Brad Tennant recently presented information at the annual meeting of the South Dakota Association of Bilingual and Bicultural Education in Rapid City.
He addressed the role of American Indians in the 1804-1806 Lewis and Clark Expedition.
Tennant recently was appointed to the Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation's education committee, which is revising its interdisciplinary curriculum to focus on national standards, according to a news release.
An associate professor of history and history education, Tennant gives presentations on a variety of topics related to state and regional history. He is listed with the South Dakota State Humanities Council Speakers Bureau.
