SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) — Frontier Airlines says it will start service to Sioux Falls from Denver beginning July 4.
The Argus Leader reports that daily flights will arrive in Sioux Falls from Denver around 6 p.m., and leave for Denver a half hour later.
Passengers will fly a Republic Airlines 99-seat, Embraer 190 jet aircraft.
The airline began booking flights on their website Wednesday with a promotional one-way price of $74.
Airport Executive Director Dan Letellier says the city has been striving to bring Sioux Falls more affordable air service.
He called the announcement a first step in a partnership, and to be successful the community has to embrace and use the new service.
