Just a few years ago, Gov. Martin O'Malley and the dim bulbs in Annapolis said that using gambling money for funding education was "morally bankrupt." Where is their "moral superiority" now? They are now fighting over the millions of dollars to fund education (and the teachers' pension fund) at the local and state level.
And, by the way, what happened to the all the "undesirable people, prostitution and crime that this gambling was supposed to bring? Never happened. In fact, the malls and the areas surrounding these casinos are generating new businesses and creating more employment opportunities in the counties where they are located.
So much for the "highly moral" hypocrites who tried to tell the rest of us how to live our lives and spend our money.
