Jefferson County candidates file campaign spending reports

In his bid to be re-elected to a second term as Jefferson County Sheriff, Robert E. “Bobby” Shirley appears to have vastly outspent his Republican opponent Earl Ballenger as well as candidates vying for other county offices on this year’s ballot, according to campaign financial statements.
