The Gene Iager Agricultural Scholarship is offered to Maryland dairy youth who are members of a junior breed organization (all breeds), have had a 4-H dairy project and are enrolled in a four-year program at a college of agriculture.

The $5,000 scholarship was established in 2007 by Iager, a dairy, turkey and grain farmer in Howard County.

The award will be presented at the Maryland State Fair during the 4-H Supreme Dairy Show. The scholarship can be won by an individual one time.
