On Saturday, the Boonsboro Marching Band will hold its annual Tag Day fundraiser.
The band students will go door to door between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Boonsboro school district to ask for donations to support the bands.
The students will wear their uniforms so residents can tell they are part of the music program.
If you won’t be home and would like to mail in a donation, mail it to the school. Make checks payable to Boonsboro Band Boosters and mail them to Boonsboro Band Boosters, c/o Boonsboro High School, 10 Campus Ave., Boonsboro, MD 21713.
The marching band will compete at Walt Disney World in Florida in April 2013.
