“Restrepo” is a full-length documentary that chronicles the deployment of a U.S. platoon in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley. According to the film website, the movie focuses on a remote 15-man outpost that was considered to be one of the most dangerous postings in the U.S. military. The outpost is named “Restrepo” after a medic who was killed in action.
