On Oct. 2, the Exchange Club hosted speaker Kathryn Henry, past president and board member of Potomac Valley Audubon Society, who gave a presentation on the society and its many programs of environmental education and conservation.
She highlighted programs for children, which was of particular interest to the members of the Exchange Club as its core mission is child welfare and the prevention of child abuse.
Her slide presentation of resident and migrating birds from this area was educational and informative.
The Antietam Exchange Club meets every Tuesday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Academy Theater in downtown Hagerstown. Interested individuals are welcome to attend.
