Gene Raby, a certified fitness instructor for the Washington County Recreation Department, was the guest speaker at the Antietam Exchange Club’s Dec. 4 meeting.
Raby talked about tai chi and gave a history of the mediation and movement exercise workout that is said to relieve stress and improve health.
Raby guided club members through basic forms. He said the recreation department offers a wide selection of classes available to the community.
The Antietam Exchange Club meets every Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. at the Academy Theatre Banquet and Conference Center and welcomes interested members.
