Twenty-seven pairs competed in a unit championship game Wednesday, Nov. 7, during a meeting of the Hagerstown Bridge Club.
Overall winners in Flight A were: first place, Lois Taylor and Robert Freed; second place, Patricia Andrews and Dan Putnam; third place, Barbara Shaw and Kathleen Goss; fourth place, Linda Donley and Charles Meister; fifth place, Bunny and Charles Welch; and sixth place, Richard Evans and James McCrackan. In Flight B, Mary Katzmann and Phillip Davis came in fourth place; and fifth place, Aurora and Bruce McDonough.
North-South section winners in Flight A were: fifth place, Debbie and Scott Kiser; and sixth place, James Jenkins and Dennis Wick.
East-West section winners in Flight A were: fifth place, Alan Brown and Robert Dickinson; and sixth place, Elaine Rowe and Fred Wagner.
A Silverpoint Sectional game will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at American Legion Post 42, 405 Northern Ave. in Hagerstown.
