Loan program helps small farms, family operations

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack has announced a new microloan program from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency designed to help small and family operations, beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers secure loans of less than $35,000.
