Hagerstown man charged with defacing bricks
FREDERICK, Md. — A Hagerstown man was charged with malicious destruction of property after “foul language” was scrawled on bricks in a town park on Sunday, Frederick police said.
Rory Elisha McAllister was charged after a Frederick police officer saw him allegedly writing on bricks in the Carroll Creek Linear Project park, according to a Frederick Police Department news release.
The officer approached the man in the area of South Market Street and determined he was using a permanent marker to write on the bricks, the release said.
Pa. man charged with running around naked
McCONNELLSBRG, Pa. — A man has been charged with running naked through the streets of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania State Police said.
Albert Doyle, 58, of McConnellsburg, was charged with public drunkenness, open lewdness and disorderly conduct, according to a state police news release.
Troopers said they received a complaint of a suspicious male knocking on a resident’s door early Monday on East North Street. The man was later seen running west on East North Street without any clothes.
Police alleged they found Doyle standing naked outside his residence on Third Street.
Pepper spray sends child, adult to hospital
MAUGANSVILLE — A child and an adult were taken to Meritus Medical Center Tuesday evening after pepper spray was used in a house in the 16500 block of Conovale Drive, according to a Washington County 911 dispatcher.
The 6:09 p.m. call originally came in as a possible hazardous materials incident due to a chemical odor, the dispatcher said.
It was later determined to be pepper spray, the dispatcher said.
It was not clear how the pepper spray was discharged, the dispatcher said.
