Franklin County Emergency Services report
The following incidents were reported by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:
Friday
- At 12:17 a.m., a fire in the 100 block of CV Avenue.
- At 3:04 a.m., a commercial fire alarm in the 100 block of Walnut Bottom Road in Shippensburg Township.
- At 3:42 a.m., a commercial fire alarm in the in the 3000 block of Lincoln Way East.
- At 6:53 a.m., a traffic accident in the 2200 block of Development Avenue.
Thursday
- At 4:47 p.m., a traffic accident in the 600 block of Lincoln Way West in Chambersburg.
- At 7:29 p.m., a traffic accident in the 11000 block of Buchanan Trail East in Washington Township.
- At 9:03 p.m., a traffic accident in the 400 block of West Main Street in Waynesboro.
Hagerstown Police report incidents
The Hagerstown Police Department responded the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:
Sept. 19
- A controlled dangerous substance violation was reported in the 500 block of Northern Avenue. An arrest was made.
- A vehicle was towed from a work zone in the 600 block of Potomac Avenue.
- A bad check was reported at the Hagerstown Police Department.
- A burglary was reported at the Pangborn Corp.
- A scooter was found in the 800 block of Mulberry Avenue.
- A bicycle was found in the 800 block of Monet Drive.
- A purse was stolen at the Food Lion on Wilson Boulevard.
- A scooter was found on railroad property off South Walnut Street.
- Two burglaries were reported at a garage in the 600 block of North Prospect Street.
- A burglary was reported in the 40 block of Elizabeth Street.
- Controlled dangerous substance violations were reported at an AC&T on North Burhans Boulevard. Three people were arrested.
- A domestic violence referral was made in the 200 block of Hager Street.
- A forged prescription was reported at the Martins at 1650 Wesel Blvd.
- A burglary was reported in the 400 block of Michigan Avenue. Two arrests were made.
- A stabbing was reported at an apartment in the 100 block of North Potomac Street.
- A strong armed robbery was reported on Memorial Boulevard.
- A vehicle was spray-painted in the 12000 block of Little Elliot Drive.
- A bright pink 1996 Ford Taurus was stolen at North Cannon Avenue and Liberty Street.
Sept. 20
- A domestic violence referral was made in the first block of Snyder Avenue.
- A domestic violence incident was reported in the 1400 block of Haven Road.
- A theft was reported in the 200 block of North Potomac Street.
- A burglary was reported in the 100 block of Belview Avenue. Two arrests were made.
- Controlled dangerous substance violations were reported in the 400 block of Salem Avenue. An arrest was made.
- A domestic violence incident was reported in the first block of Berger Avenue.
- Child abuse was reported in the 200 block of North Mulberry Street.
- A bad check and fraud were reported at an apartment in the 100 block of Manor Drive.
