SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. —
The Rotary Club of Shepherdstown celebrated its 25th anniversary with a June 8 dinner at Shepherdstown's Bavarian Inn, where the club has held its weekly breakfast meetings since its founding in June 1987.More than 100 club members and guests attended.
Before dinner, charter member James Price, who is known in the community as a master storyteller, entertained the crowd by recalling highlights of the club's history.
The after-dinner program included a tribute to the 10 charter members who have passed away and recognition of the 16 remaining charter members, including seven who are still active in the club.
