A volunteer committee that has been examining ways to temporarily alleviate overcrowding at Pangborn Elementary School has moved its meeting to Tuesday.

The Facilities and Enrollment Advisory Committee will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Washington County Public Schools’ office at 701A Frederick St., school system spokesman Richard Wright said.

The meeting was originally scheduled for Wednesday.

At its last meeting, the committee had come to a consensus on a proposed recommendation, which is to be provided to the Board of Education by April 2.

The proposal calls for redistricting 11 multifamily dwellings in the Cortland Manor development, moving about 55 students from Pangborn Elementary to Paramount Elementary School next fall.

A draft recommendation letter and supporting documents are to be brought before the committee for final review tonight.
