A reported fight escalated into an assault early Sunday on Little Elliott Drive in Hagerstown, sending several victims to the hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, according to the Hagerstown Police Department.
Police responded to 12931 Little Elliott Drive at about 1:35 a.m.
Reports indicated that a fight started outside an apartment and moved inside, where several individuals were struck with a bat and “other objects,” Lt. Tom Langston said in a news release.
The victims were taken to Meritus Medical Center, from which they were released after being treated, he said.
A male was later found to have several stab wounds that allegedly stemmed from the assault, Langston said.
Identities of those involved in the altercation were not released and the investigation is ongoing, authorities said.
