Members of the Smithsburg High School FFA Chapter competed with 225 other FFA members from across the country in the National FFA Agricultural Issues Forum Career Development Event.
The team, led by adviser Warren Ruark, was awarded a bronze emblem.
The event was held Oct. 24 to 27 in conjunction with the 85th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind.
Team members include Matt Lewis, Justin Martin, Hannah Rohrer and Morgan Nicley. Karen Martin is the team coach and Ruark and Lynda Dominick the advisers.
