St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Clear Spring invites the community to its annual fall soup and sandwich sale Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The harvest festival will include bluegrass and gospel music provided by Warner “Red” Shingleton and his friends on the banjo, guitar, bass and other stringed instruments.
Homemade chicken corn, vegetable and ham/bean soup, along with country ham sandwiches (the country ham is from Ernst Market), steamers, hot dogs and chili dogs, accompanied by all the condiments, will be available for lunch or takeout.
Desserts will include peach, apple or cherry pie, cake or cookies. Drinks will be available.
The community also is invited to Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.
