FORT COLLINS, Col. — Alicia Domsky graduated magna cum laude with a degree in human development and family studies from the honors program at Colorado State University.

Domsky is a 2008 graduate of Williamsport High School. She took college courses during high school through the ESSENCE program at Hagerstown Community College, which helped her to graduate in three years.

Domsky is taking a year off to ski in Colorado before returning to graduate school to earn her doctorate in physical therapy.

Domsky is the daughter of Maury and Joyce Domsky.

 

 

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. — Grigory L. Makarenko was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Hampden-Sydney College.

Makarenko is in his junior year at the school.

Makarenko is a graduate of Washington High School, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil M. Kosko of Kearneysville, W.Va.

 

 

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. — Jessica Dillon of Waynesboro, Pa., recently graduated during spring commencement at Gardner-Webb University.

Dillon graduated with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.

 

 

HUNTINGTON, Ind. — The following local students graduated May 14 from Huntington University.

  • Eric Bjorndal of Frederick, Md., received a bachelor of science degree in management.
  • Alyssa Hann of Chambersburg, Pa., received a bachelor of social work degree in social work.

 

 

HAMPTON, Va. — Antonio Franklin and Sharese Guest, both of Frederick, Md., graduated May 8 from Hampton University.

 

 

LEXINGTON, Va. — Justin Donati and Caitlin McCurdy, both of Walkersville, Md., earned honor roll status for the recently completed term at Washington and Lee University.

 

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Joseph Slattery of Mount Airy, Md., recently was inducted into Providence College’s chapter of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the national honor society for pre-med students.

Slattery is a member of the Class of 2013 and is pursuing a degree in biology.
