Two Hagerstown men pleaded guilty this week to the shooting of a Frederick, Md., man in November and were sentenced to one to three years in prison, Berkeley County Prosecutor Pamela Games-Neely said Tuesday.
Leon William Racks, 29, and Joseph Wayne Mason, 27, entered their pleas Monday before 23rd Circuit Judge Christopher Wilkes. Their sentences were mandatory, Games-Neely said.
Racks and Mason were given credit for time served, she said.
The two pleaded guilty in the shooting of Kevin R. Mullen, 28, in the parking lot of Club Twisted at 5268 Williamsport Pike. Police found Mullen lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, according to court records.
Racks and Mason drove from the scene and were stopped by Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
Witnesses and evidence found at the scene led Berkeley County investigators to charge the pair, court records said.
