The Washington County Department of Social Services will host an open house for its community partners today from 1 to 4 p.m. More than 30 local human- service agencies will be on hand at information tables to explain their services and discuss how agencies can work together to serve mutual customers.
Front-line staff from social services and partnering agencies have also been invited to attend to learn more about community services, networking and strengthening relationships.
Also today, the Washington County Safe Place Child Advocacy Center, at 24 N. Walnut St., and the Washington County Family Center, at 221 McRand Court, will be open to community partners from 9 to 11 a.m. for tours and explanations of the services they provide.
