Waynesboro police respond to reports of shots fired

Waynesboro police are investigating several reports of shots fired Monday night.

At approximately 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of shots fired into an occupied home on West Second Street, police said.


Shortly after going to that home, police received additional calls about shots fired in the area of West North Street. Police said a vehicle parked in the area had been struck by several bullets.

There were no reported injuries, police said.
