A stalled front near the Kansas - Oklahoma border this afternoon will remain anchored there through Saturday evening before washing out. While this weather feature hangs around our region we can expect periods of thunderstorms and rain to continue.

Rain will be heavy at times and a few storms could be severe although widespread severe weather is not expected. A few storms could be packing gusty winds to around 60 mph winds at times.

Folks near the Kansas - Oklahoma border will see highs near 100 degrees this afternoon while others climb into the low to mid and upper 90s.  There will be a mix of sun and clouds across the state.
