About 1,500 people in Franklin County, Pa., and Washington County lost power Thursday morning when equipment failed in a power substation in Pennsylvania, a FirstEnergy official said.
Utility spokesman Dave Kline said he was not sure where the substation is.
The outages started about 5:22 a.m., and power was restored by about 11 a.m., Kline said.
Most of the people who lost power were in Franklin County, Kline said.
