Hagerstown will host motorcyclists from around the country from July 14 to 17 as part of Bike Week.
As part of the event, The Maryland Theatre has teamed with the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, City of Hagerstown and Harley-Davidson of Williamsport to bring riders into the city’s Arts and Entertainment District.
In conjunction with Bike Week, The Maryland Theatre’s Wind Down Friday event will be July 15 from 4:30 to 11 p.m.
The event costs $5. The first band to play will be the Knuckle Dusters, followed by Pete Lancaster and Stack O’Blues.
Vendors will be set up in the square providing an opportunity to shop for motorcycle gear and sign up for an approved riders’ training course. There also will be a raffle with prizes provided by Harley-Davidson of Williamsport.
South Potomac Street will be closed for Wind Down Friday as will the last block of North Potomac Street in order to provide motorcycle parking and foot traffic.
All proceeds from the event will benefit The Maryland Theatre.
