CLEAR SPRING —A pair of incumbents earned two more years on Clear Spring Town Council in the town’s elections held Monday evening, according to Town Clerk Juanita Grimm.
Grimm said incumbent Steven L. Blickenstaff collected 33 votes in the vice mayor race, defeating challengers Sue Brennan and David Robertson, who received 14 and 12 votes, respectively.
Running unopposed, incumbent Councilwoman Megan Yeakle received 51 votes, Grimm said.
The terms for Blickenstaff and Yeakle will expire in 2014.
Grimm said a total of 57 people voted. Clear Spring does not keep an official record of its registered voters, but citizens must reside in the town for at least 30 days to be eligible to vote, she said.
