Frederick man killed in accident on U.S. 340 in southern Washington County

A Frederick, Md., man was pronounced dead at the scene of a crash between a tractor-trailer and a passenger car Friday afternoon on U.S. 340 east (Jefferson Pike) near Md. 67 (Rohrersville Road) in southern Washington County, according to a Maryland State Police news release.
