The following area schools and school systems were dismissing classes early Friday due to snow:
Maryland
• Washington County Public Schools will dismiss classes two hours early. All evening activities are canceled.
• Frederick County Public Schools will dismiss students two hours early. Morning pre-k students will remain at school for dismissal with full-day students. Afternoon pre-k and Career and Technology Center classes are canceled. Afternoon CTC students will remain at their home schools until dismissal. Flexible Evening High and Heather Ridge Twilight programs are canceled.
• Broadfording Christian Academy - Classes will dismiss three hours early.
• Gateway Christian Academy - Closing at noon.
• Mt. Aetna Adventist Elementary School - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
Pennsylvania
• Central Fulton School District - Classes will dismiss at noon.
• Fairfield Area School District - Elementary school classes to dismiss at 2 p.m., high school and middle school at 1 p.m.
• Forbes Road School District - Classes will dismiss at noon.
• Greencastle Area School Distirct - Secondary classes to dismiss at 12:50 p.m., elementary classes at 1:30 p.m.
• Southen Fulton School District - Classes will dismiss at 11:45 a.m.
• Tuscarora School District - Elementary schools to dismiss at noon, secondary schools at 1 p.m.
• Waynesboro Area School District - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
* Shalom Christian Academy - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
West Virginia
• Berkeley County Public Schools - Classes will dismiss two hours early. Afternoon pre-k canceled.
• Jefferson County Public Schools - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
• Morgan County Public Schools - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
• Country Day School - Classes will dismiss at 1:30 p.m.
• Faith Christian Academy - Classes will dismiss two hours early.
