A man accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Concord Street while he was cleaning a .357-caliber handgun, according to a Hagerstown Police Department spokesman.
The man shot himself in the left thigh and the injury was not life-threatening, Sgt. Stewart Heckman said.
The man was transported to Meritus Medical Center after the 4:20 p.m. accident, Heckman said.
