A man has been charged with robbery Friday at a home at 16 West Side Ave., Hagerstown police said.
Dwayne Allen Smith, 38, address not provided, was charged with strong-arm robbery, according to a police department news release.
Police said they were called to the home on West Side Avenue for a report of a robbery Friday morning. Police alleged that Smith got into an argument with family members at the home and forcibly took cash and prescription medication.
Smith fled and was captured a few hours later when he returned to the scene, according to police.
