A man was taken to Meritus Medical Center on Sunday morning with a stab wound to his lower back, according to a news release from the Hagerstown Police Department.
The injury was not life-threatening, the release states.
At 12:41 a.m. Sunday, Hagerstown Police responded to El Palenque Cantina Restaurant, at 204 E. Franklin St., for a reported stabbing, the release states.
Police found the wounded man in the restaurant, the release states.
The person believed to have stabbed the victim fled before police arrived, the release states.
