A man was taken to Meritus Medical Center east of Hagerstown after he accidentally shot himself in the leg Sunday at a home in the 800 block of Concord Street, Hagerstown police said.
The man, whose name was not released, suffered a single gunshot wound to the left leg while he was cleaning a handgun at about 4:20 p.m., according to a police department news release.
Police said the wound was not life-threatening.
