FREDERICK, MD. —
A Frederick woman is charged with child abuse in the November death of her 3-month-old son.
The Frederick News-Post reported that 21-year-old Elizabeth Tramonte was charged in an indictment unsealed Thursday. She’s being held in the Frederick County jail on $50,000 bond.
Tramonte’s attorney didn’t immediately return a call from The Associated Press seeking comment.
She’s charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in the death of Blake Tramonte.
Prosecutors said an autopsy revealed injuries including broken ribs. They said Tramonte was living with her boyfriend at the time of the boy’s death.
